![]() ![]() The levels are quite long 40+mins in my exeperience. Have to start from the last saved level again, not from the checkpoint. Loved it! Oh and yes, the saving feature is very annoying. All in all, a very interesting and new experience for me. Probably because it had TOO much effects on it, or maybe the iMac update I just downloaded buggered it a llittle. Can't play it smoothly on native resolution with everything turned to maximum on my 27" iMac i7 3.4GHz, 4Gb, 6970M 1Gb, instead I went for 1920x1080 (max detail) and it played smoothly, except for the last level. Didn't get stuck too much except for the last level. Total game time around 5~6hours (for me). ![]() Brought it last night and just finished today. Many different ways to go about the level, quite difficult at times. Never seen anything like it before and the music is amazing as well, suits the game well. £1.49, bargain! This game is so beautiful. I don't normally play games (or review anything!) but since this was so cheap and amazing, I had to say something. Trine is a beautiful fantasy action platformer with a fairytale-like atmosphere, following the journey of three heroes - a Wizard, a Knight and a Thief - in a quest to save the kingdom from evil. The plot itself depicts the heroes' adventures as though they've just come from a fairytale book' pages.Ĭompared to its predecessor, Trine 2 has acquired more favorable reception from the critics: while the first piece has got the average of 8 on the review aggregators, being criticised for lousy ending and enemies' monotony, the second one is said to have significant improvements and innovations.Note: Trine only works with a 32-bit operating system. Trine 2 features bright and shiny middle-aged levels with the essential elements glowing in the location. Trine 2 is the second part of multiplatform puzzle sidescroller with a heavy accent on the cooperative. Developer: Frozenbyte, Atlus U.S.A., Inc., indieszero ![]()
